Hot off the heels of performing with Sky City, Coca Cola Christmas in the Park, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line International, powerhouse vocalist and emerging artist Ella Monnery returns to her home of Wellington to debut her very own tribute concert to the defining divas of the last five decades.
For one night only, experience the divas of music in a 75-minute concert that reimagines and respects the pillars of powerhouse vocals. Icons and legends: Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, and Donna Summer are brought to Wellington by vocalist Ella Monnery.
Powerhouse is a showcase of local music excellence that takes the audience on a journey of musical nostalgia and appreciation for the women who paved the way and cemented a lifelong career in the industry. Be prepared for a string of classic numbers, made famous by the divas themselves but also some reimagined takes, arranged by Daniel Hayles. Powerhouse is guaranteed to give you an evening of fun, laughter and a whole lot of chills.
