Tara Sand Mandala - May 16–22
Join the daily Tara praises and mantras, watch the monks create the sand mandala, take a walking tour of the centre, enjoy a delicious lunch.

Prayer Festival and Mandala Dissolution - May 22–26th
Join the visiting Geshes, monks and nuns from all over NZ, in special prayers and practises, join the celebrations and create enormous merit.

We welcome everyone to view this incredible cultural art spectacle.

Prayer Festival Program of Events May 16 to 26th

Thursday 16th May to Wed May 22nd
10am to 5pm daily, Join the daily recitation of prayers, Tara Praises and Mantra recitations, watch the monks at work, take a walking tour of the centre, enjoy a delicious lunch. Experience this ancient cultural art form with skilled artists at work and learn of the great significance.

Wednesday 22nd 6pm
Welcome dinner for our Special guests. Vegetarian Pot Luck all welcome, Community Building upstairs.

Thursday 23rd
10am to 12noon - Blessings and Prayers at WishFulfiling Land—experience the new retreat land and take a walking tour with the monks.262 Central Road South, Upper Moutere.
Lunch at Riverside Café
4pm - Guru Puja Tsog – prayers and offering ceremony, Nalanda Hall Chandarkirti Centre
6pm - Dinner at Chandrakirti to welcome our visitors.

Friday 24th
9:30am - prayers and practises blessing the environment, Nalanda Hall, Chandrakirti Centre
Lunch
2:00pm - Mandala Dissolution and formal ceremony and afternoon tea
4:30pm - Releasing the mandala sand into the ocean at Mapua wharf
6pm - Dinner at Jellyfish Café, Mapua Wharf.

Saturday 25th
9am - Tara Puja, Nalanda Hall Chandrakirti Center
11:30 - Lunch, and farewell to our Special guests.

Sunday 26th
10am - Sunday Meditation with Geshe Jampa Tharchin and Kids Dharma Class, followed by delicious free lunch, Nalanda Hall
