This is a fun, supportive weekly Yoga and Mindfulness class for pre-teens. Suitable for ages 10-12 yrs or school years 5-8.
Classes blend mindful warm-up games, breath awareness, strength and flexibility movements, and relaxation. Students learn strategies to cope with the challenges they meet at school and in their lives.
All bodies and fitness levels warmly welcomed.
Please bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes you can move and sit in. Yoga mats available.

Helen is an experienced Yoga and Mindfulness teacher. She has a Yoga teaching diploma with IYTA (NZ), a Teaching Children Yoga certificate with Yoga in Daily Life and she gained certification in Restorative Yoga and Somatic Movement and Mindfulness with Contemporary Yoga in Auckland last year. She has also completed numerous Yoga and mindfulness retreats and trainings over the past 20 years. Helen homeschooled her children for 15 years.
Teen (13-18 year olds) and Adult classes also available.
