What you really need to expect when you’re expecting!

Having a baby is an exciting time but it can also be confusing. In this talk, I’m going to bust through some newborn myths so that you can begin your parenting journey feeling confident and prepared for this huge life change. We’ll cover the basics of newborn needs including feeding, sleep, and attachment and we’ll talk about how to adjust to your new role as mum or dad. Preparing for Parenting will ensure your new family gets off to the best start possible.

Raising your children is the most important thing you will ever do, and there are no second chances, so book your seat now! Spaces are limited.

Tea, coffee and nibbles provided. Doors open 6.45, talk begins at 7pm. Parking in the carpark out front or on street.

Anne Cullen is a parent coach and educator, speaker, and lactation consultant who has been working with children and parents for nearly 30 years. As the founder of Connection-Centred Parenting, she passionately supports and educates mothers and fathers so that they can truly enjoy parenting and their children grow up feeling safe, secure and understood. Anne uses her broad range of knowledge and experience in child development, parenting and mental health to guide parents to a place of feeling confident and empowered.

Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Sociology/Anthropology; Family Resources; and Education and is an Advanced MAP Practitioner and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She is a recommended provider for The Beyond Sleep Training Project, trained in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and is Possums Certified in Neuroprotective Developmental Care. Anne has worked with families and children with both typical and special needs in various roles around the United States and New Zealand where she currently resides with her husband and two beautiful boys.
