This workshop is a combination of my popular Preserving the Harvest and Mastering Fermentation workshops. During the afternoon you will learn how to safely preserve and ferment a variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables. This demonstration-style workshop includes plenty of food interaction and time to have your preserving and fermentation questions answered.

- Demonstration and discussion on preserving fruit with little or no sugar.
- Learn different preserving and fermentation techniques to suit different kitchens and needs.
- Prepare naturally preserved brine pickles without vinegar and/or sugar - including a small jar to take home.
- Learn about lactic acid fermentation including a simple lacto-fermented chutney.
- Including a delicious afternoon tea with sourdough bread and samples of the preserves and ferments.

Plus a recipe folder to take home.

Bring: a small lidded 250 ml jar to take home a sample of the produce prepared.
