Seminar One – Hear from Gabe Andrews, Cushla Aston, Ayesha Kee and Louis Baker.

Join this professional development seminar and gain valuable insights into the industry from respected artists and practitioners in the New Zealand and international music business.
Seats are limited to this free event and registration is required via our Eventfinda listing.

Joining the panel is singer-songwriter Louis Baker, who has a compelling voice and a talent for writing deeply personal, stirring songs.

Gabe Andrews has worked at APRA AMCOS NZ since April 2017, first joining as a Concert & Event Licensing Representative and currently the acting Manager of Member Services. He’s previously worked as a writer for online publication Tone Deaf and volunteered with Auckland’s own 95bFM. As a huge music fan and frequent live gig attendee, Gabe’s passionate about ensuring APRA AMCOS continues to support local songwriters and advocate on their behalf.

Cushla Aston will talk about management in the New Zealand music industry from her viewpoint as owner of Aston Road Management.

Ayesha Kee brings with her a wealth of information over a vast range of industry topics from event and music management and as a DJ.

The seminar will begin with each panellist talking about their background and journey in the music business. Following this a panel discussion will dive into the presenter's specific areas of expertise, fielding questions from the attendees before a final question and answer section with the audience.

The seminar will take place at the Harvest Centre, 324 Malfroy Road, Rotorua.
