Red Bull Defiance

Entries are now open for Red Bull Defiance being held on January 19th to 20th 2019.

85 teams will take on this two day adventure race that is the most challenging and scenically stunning multisport race in New Zealand.Spectacular mountain trails, wonderful panoramic backdrops, stunning views, beautiful stage locations and participants from over around the world make this event a unique and unforgettable experience.

Team Racing in Pairs: Mixed, Male and Female
Prize Money: $24,000 prize pool

Event HQ, Registration and Finish: hosted by Edgewater Resort, Wanaka.
Teams: Two person
Team limit: Maximum of 85 teams

Race: 6 stages, positioned over 2 days. The teams will run, bike, kayak and complete other adventure activities through the breathtaking alpine landscapes of Wanaka, taking them on a memorable journey around this amazing adventure playground.
