Reinstating and Restoring Tikitapu Scenic Reserve

DOC is planning a working bee on Sunday 29th September 10 am to 12.30pm to reinstate the integrity of an area of the Tikitapu Scenic Reserve.

Meet at Lake Okareka, Boat Ramp, Acacia Road, Lake Okareka, by 10am.

Bring your work gloves, a spade or rake, along with your sense of humour and strong muscles. Wear outdoor clothing appropriate to weather conditions, work / hiking boots (no opened toed shoes)

This mahi will include using spades, grubbers and rakes. Please come to lend a hand to help reinstate the forest.
