Everyone remembers their first time...
Remarkably Funny is proud to present a competition for first-time comedians. If you think you're funny, we'll tell if you if you're right. We're also amped that this is our first show in Wānaka, after 14 sold out shows this year across the hill in Queenstown.
If you need an incentive to get on stage (other than the intense adrenaline hit), there's $300 to be won, with prizes for the overall winner, runner up, audience choice, best joke and best stage presence.
The competition will be hosted by MC Darren A Hill, (nominated for Breakthrough Comedian of the Year - South Island at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards).
You don't want to miss this one, so enter with the link above if you want to be on stage, or if not, buy tickets now. Note that the venue has a mix of seated and standing spaces, and a ticket doesn't guarantee you a seat (let us know if you really need a seat and we’ll reserve you a spot). Doors open 8pm, show starts 8:30 sharp. We recommend getting there early to get a good spot.
