The only comedy show with nothing off limits hits Auckland for the first time ever. After sellout shows in Christchurch, Dunedin and Hamilton it's time to storm the City of Sails. It's going to be absolute fire as we've hand-picked some of the nation's finest up and coming young comedians to clash and some of NZ's most beloved veterans to judge.

Eight brave stand up comics compete in a match of wit and insults: it's competitive insult comedy. The comics compete onstage while adhering to the three golden Roast Battle rules: original material only, no physical contact, and every battle ends with a hug. With no joke off-limits, anything can happen.

Each battle is simple: two comedians take turns throwing their best roasts at each other, and the panel of pro judges decide the winner of the war of the words. After three rounds of elimination, we crown that night’s Roast Battle champion. Your roastmaster will be Angel Jordan (@jordyce). Insults will fly, and not even the audience is safe, so thick skin is mandatory.

Competitors:
James Malcolm (2016 & 2018 Billy T Nominee)
James Mustapic (2019 Billy T Nominee)
Josiah Day (2018 Best Newcomer)
and MANY more!

Judges:
Brendhan Lovegrove (10x Best Male Comedian)
David Correos (2016 Billy T Winner)
Ray Shipley (2019 Billy T Nominee)
