Rosetown Stockcar Teams Classic

Saturday 13 April see the Kihikihi Domain burst into an action packed night of Stockcar and Saloon Teams racing!

Headlining tonight’s show is Kihikihi’s annual 4 Way Stockcar Teams Trophy with a little twist... this year will see 6 teams contest the title! This invitational event attracts some of the best teams racers from around the North Island and has also blooded some of Stockcars Teams household names.

Current and back to back New Zealand Champions, the Stratford Stormers are back to defend the title. Last years runners up, the Auckland Alleycats will be there along with the Rotorua Rascals, a team from Huntly, a developmental select team and of course, the Kihikihi Crusaders.

Also on tonight’s billing is another hugely supported annual event, the Saloons Battle Of The Sexes. This contest, battled over three heats, sees clubmate vs clubmate, friends vs friends, bf vs gf and Husbands vs Wives in the ultimate battle to challenge the notion of which gender is best! Last year, the Men took bragging rights by the smallest of margins and the Ladies will be aiming to reverse those conditions.

On the support class card will be Quarter Midgets, Ministocks and Stockcars, the latter will finish the night with the all in 25 lap winner takes all Rosetown Classic. A race that has loads of history and never fails to entertain.
