The Mosque terrorist attacks in Christchurch changed the way we have to manage the safety around public events and gatherings. We are delighted to host and provide live streaming for the first discussions between industry and government and security agencies on how we work together to find ways to keep events a safe place for people to gather.

The discussion will focus around:
- Re-defining the event risk environment
- Re-evaluating the risks associated with public events and gatherings.
- Re-establishing best practice event risk security measures for public events & gatherings
- Re-contracting security partners

Panel members:
- Marika Hughes - Principal Advisor (Engagement & Coordination), National Security Systems Directorate, Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet
- Tanya Cokojic - Team Leader Events Partnerships & Development, Christchurch City Council
- Andrew Bakker - Event Production Coordinator, Christchurch City Council
- Calum Nicholson - Technical Director, Foamhand

45mins – Presentation time 15 followed by 30 minutes Q & A.
