Sanson Community Market

The Sanson Sunday Market has been running since 1997, and from that time on, the market has gone from strength to strength with new casual stallholders joining us or becoming one of the many weekly attendees, who show up no matter the weather—a stalwart bunch!

The locals take delight in heading to the market on Sunday mornings to stock up on the coming weeks' fruit and vegetables, and take delight along with all those come especially for the hum of the market, the stalls of many a hidden treasure, and (if lucky enough) to bump into old friends.

Poking around the varied items up for sale will see you browsing things like fresh flowers, flower and veg seedlings, novelty items, gift ideas & treasures, collectables, honey, freshly made preserves, Leona's famous pickled onions (she gets lots of repeat customers for these), you can also find food vendors on-site and be treated to real fruit Ice Cream from Renate at the Foodie Bar, hot freshly cooked Mussel Fritters via The Mussel Man or freshly cooked, very hot, donuts, there's most certainly something for everyone...

Stall Sites, for both weekly and casual attendees, are $15 per 3x3m site.

No power, no free WiFi.

Due to unforseen circumstances the following is published FYI, with effect 22nd December 2019:

From this time forward, due to the bookings being made are all via IT means; these being cellphone (and my use of tablet and PC), and my failing eyesight, there will be no future casual bookings made. Therefore, all casuals will have to take a punt and come and take a chance on a site being made available. However, please note that all those casuals* who have booked a continuous period [that extends past today's date] you are still being allocated a site when the plan is drawn up on Saturday.

Cancellations:
For those casuals (*as noted above) and all weekly attendees, if for any reason you are unable to attend any one given Sunday you are requested to text your full name through to Christine on 021 102 7965.

Christine's number is not for bookings.
