Award winning cameraman and film maker Robin Kewell will be presenting his series of underwater films at a special Sea Week event. This will be the first time that he has shown all 6 films he made that were part of a series for Discovery Channel. Travelling to some of the remotest parts of the globe to marine environments where man has not ‘made his mark’.

Several of the locations in the series are now World Heritage sites. Robin is better known locally for showing other people’s films at Flicks cinema, Lopdell Theatre and for this special event he will be there to present the films with a Q & A session after each screening. Each session will last for about 75 mins, which includes two 25 minute films and a Q&A.

The programme consists of the following films (there will be 2 films shown at each screening time):

At 10.30am and 4.30pm:
Fernando de Noronha (Island of the Dolphins) Brazil
Cocos the Treasure Island (Costa Rica)

At 12.30pm and 6pm
Palau-The Rock Islands (Micronesia)
Aldabra-Paradise Islands (Seychelles)

At 2.30pm and 7.30pm
Niugini-islands of Eden (Papua New Guinea)
Aotearoa – Land of Ice and Fire (New Zealand)

The films will be screened throughout the day on Wednesday 6 March starting at 10-30am in the Seminar Room, 1st floor, Lopdell House.
