A free afternoon PD session for teachers and community groups with the amazing Sally Carson from Dunedin.
Join us for an introduction to the Marine Metre Squared project (www.mm2.net.nz) and find out how your school or community group can gather valuable data that will lead to greater understanding and improved management of your local shoreline.
The workshop will introduce the data collection methods, provide a hands–on introduction to Mm2 web site and highlight the on-line data analysis tools and educational resources available. Discussion will focus on survey results (collected earlier in the day) and how the survey can be tailored to answer questions of local relevance.
Bring your own laptop, tablet or phone.
