Audio Description
An audio describer will translate the magic of live classical music for the visually impaired, in real time as the concert is happening.
Touch Tour
Before the concert, participants are invited to take part in a special Touch Tour. This will take place on stage and includes an opportunity to feel where the instruments are placed in relation to one another, and hold/touch the instruments that will be played during the performance.
About Septura
Redefining brass chamber music through the uniquely expressive sound of the brass septet, Septura brings together London’s leading players in a programme of bright and bold virtuosity. This is brass playing at its highest level.
The brass septet is a new musical configuration, with Septura creating a parallel universe in which, in the world of chamber music, the brass septet rules. The piano’s rich repertoire is tempting for transcribers, and Rachmaninov‘s Duets, Debussy’s Préludes and Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition are certainly no exception.
