This November, Garage Project, Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ, The Improvisors & Southern Cross Garden Bar Restaurant join forces once again to bring you a fundraiser with a difference. Come on down & enjoy a bit of The Bard in The Garden Bar!

Entertainment
What more can be added to the works of Shakespeare? Heaps! The Improvisors bring you Shakespearean drama as you’ve never seen it before and may never see it again - the scenes, the soliloquies, the sonnets that the Bard would have written – if only he’d had more time. Our team of talented performers will make it all up on the spot, drawing on your ideas and suggestions. Whether you are a scholar of Elizabethan literature or just someone who likes to laugh, this show will definitely be the most unusual Shakespearean production you’ll see this month.

Charity Beer
In honour of the event, Garage Project will be treating us to a special charity batch of Full Fathom Five: an original English IPA with a brave new world twist. This beer was first brewed in 2017 specially for Shakespeare in the Garden, and we're looking forward to its return! Full proceeds from the keg will be going directly to SGCNZ.

To complete the festivities, there will be also be a traditional roast dinner available from The Cross' kitchen, alongside our full menu & other festive beverages.

Tickets
Tickets will be limited, and are available online or at the door (limited availability). All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated directly to SGCNZ - read more about this awesome not-for-profit organisation below!

Note: As we're a licensed venue, those under 18 must be accompanied by at least one of their parents to attend the show.

Booking fees apply.

Online ticket sales end at 12pm on Sunday 24th of November - Door Sales available on the day from 4pm.
