Let's get outdoors and transform the city into dance floor!

This time around we invite for an interactive, multi-sensory walk to explore the Henderson area, its streets, parks, secret spot and public space and unlock its cultural and historical potential. Take a look around by tuning into pre-recorded entertainment programme through Silent Disco headphones and have a new perspective on the city and the area we live in.

An immersive, unique, interactive, multi-sensory 90-min walk around Henderson as a part of EcoWest Festival 2019 by EcoMatters.

No dance experience or desire is required. Just be you, it’s more than enough and takes a walk on the wild side. Bring your children, friends, parents or even grandparents. Kids 5+ years are welcome. Rain or Shine thanks to our sponsors - Blunt umbrellas.

The meeting point – outside of the WestCity Shopping Mall, entrance from the Great North Road.

The walk starts outside of the WestCity shopping Mall, will go through Henderson Town Centre, with a few interactive stops, activities happening along the way - Kakano Pop-Up Gallery, Falls Hotel, Corban Estate Arts Centre, Henderson Park and finishes at the Japanese Garden.

The event's theme is inspired by the cultural and historical heritage of Henderson. We will touch upon the Past, reflect on the Present and think of The Future that we are able to co-create as the community. The music playlist will contain all sorts of music hits from old school to new school.

Silent Disco Citywalk Henderson edition gives the audience the chance to highlight and unlock the diverse potential of Henderson and shift the perception of the urban space.
