Simmer down after summer and start your creative juices steeping for Southern Smoulder.
This event will feature most of the elements of a burn- music for boogieing, collaborative art, circus antics, chill out zone, workshops and participatory activities. All on a smaller but jampacked scale.

We work as a community to co-create an inclusive, inspirational space- everyone brings something to share, keeps each other safe and has a great time.
Bring your radically self expressing self- Dress up fancy, kooky, crittery or whatever craziness your heart desires. There will be a clothes/costume swap box set up (contributions welcomed) if you feel the need to mix it up during the event.
We'll have the doors open to the park next door so there is lots of space for circus/flow toy spin jams, plus fire after dark (outside) and a UV/glow party (inside). Plus a renegade show (where anyone is welcome to jump up and do an act) earlier in the evening!
Theme camps are welcome to set up a mini space or host an event within the event. Wanna play music or teach a workshop? Message the page and we'll add you to the schedule. Got other awesome ideas of things to bring? We wanna hear about it.
The only thing that will differ from a burn event is alcohol - the amazing Halo Venue is hosting us and so all booze must be purchased from the bar. Please don't bring your own, and if you are overly intoxicated you will not be served. Support their generosity by supporting their business with monetary gifts.
All proceeds will go towards Southern Smoulder.
