Making new friends can be difficult sometimes, especially when life is super busy! We know that having a strong Queer community and network to rely on and spend time with is important for us all. Maybe you’ll meet your new queer fam at this fun, sober and chill event? Eat some kai, play some games, win some prizes, share some stories as you kōrero your way to amazing new friendships. This event is totally free and open to people age 18+.

While you’re visiting, check out the new additions to our LGBTQIA+ collection. We’ve purchased a range of new materials (fiction, zines, graphics and non-fiction) and collected some classics for your borrowing pleasure. If you’re not a member or can’t find your library card, you can join on the night – it’s fast and free!
