Come and join in for a workout session in the park! What´s better than training? Training outside in nature! We will be going through a workout which is meant to promote Well-Being by strengthening your powerhouse [your core], promoting balance and supporting flexibility. This workout is great on its own or when being used to enhance your ability to participate in other sports, like hiking, acro-yoga, aerials, climbing or surfing. It´s a mix of Pilates, HIIT and yoga.
It is good to have a certain base fitness, but if you are a motivated beginner you are also more than welcome. This is not a competition; this is about everyone´s own abilities. For a lot of exercises, there are several intensity options to choose from.
Please bring a mat, towel and water. Comfortable, stretchy clothing is recommended [leggings, sports top].
We will meet on the grass beside the playground at the Mt Pleasant Community Centre. This event is koha based and part of a four weeks series. Let´s get active!
