Come celebrate the launch of the SUC free Wanaka Campaign! We want to make Wanaka single-use cup (SUC) free by 2022. Driven by the community, we’re challenging ourselves to see if we can be the first community in Aotearoa to get rid of single use cups.
Be one of the first to test out the Again Again cup share scheme. Join the Wanaka Hospo Goes Eco team for a cuppa with special guests from Again Again, Laura from UYO and Shay from Caliwoods. #sucfreewanaka
Transport to the event - If you can, come on your bike, carpool or walk. We’d love to keep this event as low impact as possible!
Plant a tree - We have two off-set partners this year, the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust and TE Kakano Aotearoa Trust. Part of our profits will go to these two amazing organisations. If you want to help regenerate our incredible district, we’ve also set up a tree registry with trees that count. By donating to the registry, you’re putting more native trees into the ground, helping not only reduce our footprint but also providing habitat for our feathered neighbours.
