It wouldn’t be Auckland Live Summer in the Square without a sensational music line-up, and this summer is no exception. Music-man extraordinaire, Matthew Crawley has gone and blown us all out of the water with an eclectic range of musical acts to enjoy in Aotea Square.

If you’re a music nerd or you simply love a cool beverage in the sun while the sweet sounds of live music sizzle in the background, come on down to the Square and make the most of this free music programme. It’s going to be a scorcher!

Stef Animal is an electronic musician/producer from Ōtepoti/Dunedin. Her critically-acclaimed 2018 album Top Gear was made using cheap or unfashionable keyboards, computers and synths from the 80s and 90s, and can regularly be heard on Radio New Zealand National’s ‘Lately’ show. Her 2019 release - The Spooky House - is a combined videogame/soundtrack project and is currently being toured around the country. Stef also sings in Wellington dreamgaze outfit The Golden Awesome, who are hard at work finishing off their second full-length LP.
