Swingtown Rebels Band Night and Taster Class

Swingtown Rebels is excited to bring you our next band night - this time with special guest stars 3kg - who, in their own words, are "a Christchurch, NZ-based band of lightweights who make music that's got a beat, and you can tap yer foot to it!"

We say you can do more than just tap your foot, you can get your dance on! With more than 50% dancers in the band they sure know how to swing a party. Come along and have some fun.

Band starts 8:30pm.

Haven't danced before, or are taking our level 1 class, or have friends or family you are thinking to lure along? Come along to our free beginner taster class from 7:30 pm.

No partner or experience necessary, come and learn a few moves so you can get up and boogie to the band later (or earn yourself a drink for spectating after class!)

*To buy alcoholic drinks Woolston Club requires you to be a member ($25 annual fee sign up on the night) or to have a member with you, when you buy drinks. Lots of the regular dancers have joined up so if you're new, grab someone and make a new friend! Non-alcoholic drinks don't have this requirement.

**To buy food you need to get your orders in by 7:30 (in person or phone ahead) please due to kitchen closing times, but if you let them know you are a dancer they will try bring your food out as close to 8:30 pm as possible.
