Ever wondered when and why you might engage an engineer? Need to know how to apply for Building Consent or Resource Consent in Auckland? Come along to our Auckland office after work to chat with some of our engineers and/or architectural drafting staff. We'll start with an interactive chat session including giving an introduction to the Auckland Unitary Plan, explaining current costs and issues within the Auckland residential build industry and council requirements. We'll tell you what's likely to be involved when you work with a structural or civil engineer, when you might need specialist services like Geo Technical, and the common time-frames, trip-ups and trials. You can then ask us anything of general interest or something specific about your personal building plans.
We're limiting numbers so you can have a reasonable chunk of time one-on-one after the open chat session.
Your ticket includes one cold drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). No children please.
Parking available on the street.
Session starts sharp at 6.15 pm.
