The Taranaki National Art Awards is a national art competition and art exhibition held in Opunake, South Taranaki. We offer artists from all over New Zealand, the opportunity to enter into an art competition hosted in South Taranaki.
Our exhibition runs in alignment with the Powerco Garden festival, Taranaki Garden festival and The Great Opunake Yarn Bomb, visitors van view beautiful gardens in the South Taranaki Area and see the beautiful art displayed at Sandfords Events Centre, Opunake.
The dates for the competition and exhibition are from 1st November 2019 - 9th November 2019. Come an view the diverse art created by artists from 7 prize Categories being, Painting; Taranaki Artists; 3D; Works on Paper, Fibre Art, To Taranakitanga and Photography.
Entry is $2 to the exhibition, starts 2nd Nov 2019, attend our awards ceremony held on Friday 1st Nov 2019 for $15 pp.
