Auckland Live proudly supports Tempo Dance Festival.
At Awhi Yoga and Wellbeing we feel Te Ao Māori and the ancient teachings of Yoga blend beautifully to create a framework for wellbeing. Both philosophies teach us that everything starts with our individual wellness. This leads us to better relationships with others, a clearer purpose in life and a greater connection to the world around us.
Join Jase Te Patu, (Ngāti Apa, Ngāti Ruanui, Ngāti Tūwharetoa) winner of the Mind/Body Teacher of the year at the NZ Exercise Awards 2018, for an all levels, gentle flow. Let’s move our bodies, quieten our minds, open our hearts and come together as we do it, all in the name of Tempo!
Jase Te Patu has been teaching in the health and wellness sector for 27 years, his life’s work leading him to share yoga, meditation and mindfulness. Co-owner of Awhi Yoga and Wellbeing, a teacher trainer, facilitator, keynote speaker and creator of M3-Mindfulness, Jase’s students include the All Blacks, Hurricanes, Pulse, NZ School of Dance and many more high-performance athletes.
Yoga has been a beautiful space to utilise all the tools in Jase’s kete and he’s intent on sharing it all through the lens of Hauora and Te Ao Māori.
Presented as part of Tempo Dance Festival.
