Te Atatu Peninsula Artisan & Handmade Market

Nestled in the heart of Te Atatu Peninsula Township is our small, unique and friendly Auckland craft market.

On the second Saturday of each month (February to December) you'll find us in the Te Atatu Peninsula Library Foyer and (weather permitting) on the Verandah at 595 Te Atatu Road, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland.

Important notes:
This is a small market which is growing. You will find updates on our Facebook page, and if there are any changes or cancellations. If the weather is unsuitable - the entire market moves inside to the foyer. Most stallholders prefer to be inside in the Community Centre foyer, and some like to be on the Library Verandah outside (weather permitting).

Inside - Te Atatu Peninsula Library Foyer: 10 am to 2 pm.
Outside - Library Verandah: 10 am to 2 pm (weather permitting).

Celebrate Kiwi creativity and talent with us. Experience an ever-changing smorgasbord of artisan and handmade products each market day, made by talented artists and craftspeople who love what they do.

We have different artisans, craftspeople and local small businesses attend each market day, and the range and number of stallholders can vary. Check our Facebook Page or our website for updates. (See details below).

We have permanent and casual stallholders; each month you'll find an ever-changing collection of creations. This includes - Hospice crafts; beautiful bath and body products; pure essential oils; natural handmade soaps and cupcake soaps; hand-poured soy candles; knitted/crocheted items; traditional handcrafts; unique gifts; children's clothes and toys; terrariums; art; handcrafted greeting cards. Who attends each month varies.

Enjoy our subtle background music while you browse the market. Relax under the trees in the village green, enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat at one of the nearby eateries. The Te Atatu Peninsula Library is open Saturdays and is a great place to visit before or after the market. They have many facilities, and are much more than a library.

The market is easily accessed by wheelchair and pushchair. Accessible toilets are close by, as are several Eftpos machines. Some stallholders accept payment by credit card and Eftpos. There's a fantastic playground for children too and several local cafes where you can grab a bite to eat, or enjoy a coffee. Parking is available in the car-park at the rear.

We're in a great location with easy motorway access and only 20 minutes from Auckland’s CBD. Live local? Grab your bike and reach us via one of the cycleways, or board one of the regular buses to Te Atatu Peninsula. Bus stops are metres from the market and Te Atatu Peninsula Library.

We have spaces available to stallholders and small local businesses who love what they do. Spaces cost $5. We are a New Zealand artisan market and accept stallholders who make their own products. You need to BYO table and chair/s. We are unable to offer table hire.

We are predominantly an Auckland handcraft market and have up to a couple of food spaces available. You must display your Auckland Council food grading certificate at all times. If you're a baker, a jam maker or similar - do get in touch about a spot at our great little Auckland craft market.
