Located just 10 minutes from the village of Havelock North.
This is trail running at its very best! Choose from a half marathon, a 12k or dip your toes in with the 5k. Walkers are welcome in the 12k and 5k events.
Enjoy the stunning views while running a half marathon, 12k or 6k distance. This event starts on Chambers Farm, Matangi Road, Havelock North, with the 21k & 12k crossing onto Te Mata Peak.
This run is event two of six in the Hawke’s Bay Trail Running Series. You can enter one or enter them all.
Each event offers three distances to suit all abilities:
- Short: 5 - 9 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Medium: 11 - 15 km (runners and fast walkers)
- Long: 1/2 marathon (runners only)

Entries are online only and close on the Friday before each race, with a late fee payable in the last week. Sorry, there are strictly no on the day entries.
