FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Yes. The categories are set out by age. No children under the age of 8 are permitted to enter the Welly Bomb Comp. All participants must be confident swimming in open water.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Public parking is available on-street nearby. Please note, Te Matatini ki te Ao 2019 will be on so there will be a lot of people in the city.

What can I bring into the event?
This is a family-friendly event. No alcohol, no drugs are permitted. This is a smoke-free event. You can bring some food with you, or try out some of the food trucks nearby.

Can I buy tickets on the day?
Yes, there will be a cash only payment registration option on the day.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds will be available to 7 days before the event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we will have a list with names and categories. Please bring ID.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
Tickets are not transferable. There will be a waitlist and refunds will be available for those who can no longer attend.

Is it OK if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
For health and safety registration reasons, we will require names on the tickets to match the person who attends.

What if the weather is bad?
