Te Taiao Nature After Dark

Join us for a free, adults-only late night to celebrate the return of Te Papa’s natural history exhibition zone: Te Taiao | Nature. After dark the exhibition comes alive, with talks and tours, music, live science, art-making, food and drink.

Programme:
Live Performance: DJ Panda (aka Leilani Sio) mixes up some nature beats. Wellington Foyer. 7.30-9pm

Live Performance: Wellington roots legends Tunes of I perform. Wellington Foyer. 9-10pm.

Walk and Talk: Join members of the Te Taiao | Nature exhibition team and learn about how an exhibition of this scale gets made.

Tours leave regularly from main entrance, Te Taiao - Nature.

Fishhook Live Science Lounge: We’re welcoming back Fishhook, a crowd favourite from our farewell event ‘Laters’! Enter the Fishhook Lounge for an interactive science experience. Te Papa Hui | Backyard. Drop in, all night.

Drawing After Dark: Join artist and educator Alice Fennessy for a late night drawing session. We'll be focusing on the creatures that come out after dark.

Te Whare Rākau | The Treehouse. Drop in, all night.

Photobooth: Snap a photo with our friends The Amazing Travelling Photobooth, with a Te Taiao | Nature twist!
