Brain Play's technology based holiday programmes begin on January 7th and run Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm.
We also offer childcare for just $8.00 per hour from 7:45am - 8:45am, and 3:15pm - 4:15pm or 5:15pm.
This course is Electronics - Brain Play has just purchased a brand new set of all-in-one micro-controllers for our electronics holiday programme. Students enrolled will learn to write code for motion sensors, LED's, buzzers, buttons, humidity sensors, light sensors, infared transmitters and receivers. We'll use both Blockly and JavaScript programming to complete a series of projects.
Some of our programmes have age restrictions, due to their difficulty. Please follow these restrictions carefully as your child will not be accepted into the class on the day if they do not meet the age requirement.
Ages 5+ may participate in our coding, robotics, minecraft introduction and animation days
Ages 8+ may participate in any the same days, plus electronics, 3d printing, and website design
Ages 10+ may participate in any of the same days, plus Roblox studio.
Students are required to bring their own laptop. Previously we have accepted tablets, but we have introduced brand new activities that require the use of a desktop device.
Devices are not required for the robotics days. Chrome Books are suitable for some programmes. Please check our website to confirm. Laptops are available for hire at a rate of $8.00 per day.
We offer early-bird and volume discounts. Please email us before booking for three days or more so we can apply the discount for you.
