Brain Play

Brain Play's technology-based holiday programmes begin on 30th of September and run Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm.

We also offer childcare for just $8.00 per hour from 7:45am - 8:45am, and 3:15pm - 4:15pm or 5:15pm.

Our newest course! Bringing together a world of software, and a world or hardware

This course will teach students how to write code in the language Python, to provide commands for a micro-controller. Students will write code to turn on LEDS, create tones, create songs, control motion detectors, sound detectors, and a variety of other sensors!

Some of our programmes have age restrictions, due to their difficulty. Please follow these restrictions carefully as your child will not be accepted into the class on the day if they do not meet the age requirement.

Students are required to bring their own laptop. Previously we have accepted tablets, but we have introduced brand new activities that require the use of a desktop device.

Devices are not required for the robotics days. Chrome Books are suitable for some programmes. Please check our website to confirm. Laptops are available for hire at a rate of $8.00 per day.

We offer early-bird and volume discounts. Please email us before booking for three days or more so we can apply the discount for you.

For full information on Brain Play and our courses please see our website at www.brainplay.co.nz, email us on info@brainplay.co.nz, or give us a call on 027-509-6168.

We can't wait to have your child involved in our technology classes!
