You're invited to join a small group day trip from Kapiti to Wellington. On this tour:
- visit the ancient Chinese Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality exhibition at Te Papa
- take your pick of another exhibition and/or visit the Te Papa gift shop
- enjoy a high tea treat 'with French Delights' at Hippopotamus restaurant in the Qt Hotel (pictured).
The remarkable Terracotta Warriors are only in New Zealand for a short time. If you are interested, grab this opportunity - it may also be your last chance to see the acclaimed Gallipoli: The Scale of Our War exhibition at Te Papa (closes in April 2019).
Locals and visitors of all ages are welcome. The price includes transport, entry to the Terracotta Warriors exhibition at Te Papa and high tea at Hippopotamus Restaurant (gluten-free and vegetarian high-tea can be provided).
Pick up: From 11.00am with return at approximately 4.45pm. Pick up points are: Waikanae and Paraparaumu Railway Stations, Paekakariki Villlage and selected Retirement Villages.
Accessibility: The trip is taken in a comfortable 12-seater mini-bus which is not wheel-chair accessible. Assistance is offered for mounting and dismounting the vehicle. Walking frames can be safely stowed in transit.
