Experience the wonder of the terracotta warriors, who secretly guarded the tomb of the First Emperor of China for over 2,000 years.
Explore ancient Chinese art through audio description, handling objects, and discussing selected pieces. Discover what these objects might reveal about the lives and beliefs of those who made them, and how their ideas and creations resonate today.
We spend an hour and a half in the gallery, where there is seating.
Afterwards, we continue our discussions over refreshments.
This tour has been designed for adults. Sighted companions and guide dogs are welcome. Companions are admitted free. After you book we will email you with more information – and so you can let us know if you will be bringing a companion or anything else you'd like us to know.
Bookings are essential, as places are limited. When you book you will be asked for payment to cover the cost of your exhibition entry, but the sensory tour is free. Use the ‘Buy tickets’ button above to book.
