The AJQ band were orginally known as the Al Jenkins Quintet. Following Al Jenkin's untimely death from motor neurone disease in 2017 the group decided to continue but with the abbreviated name that they had become accustomed to using "AJQ".
Their special;ity remans the jazz and rhythm and blues from the 1950s through to the 1980s and is very broad church ranging from Thelonious Monk to Steely Dan. Come hear AJQ play their final gig for 2019 at The Clubhouse. Check out their Facebook Page to hear a sample of their special brand of music! Entry is free but Koha always accepted.
