The Artist Sessions (Monday Group)

The Artist Sessions are an alternative to structured workshops that give artists the opportunity to work on their own projects in a well-equipped studio, with tuition, group discussion and critique available. A wide range of paints, products and art making accessories is available to meet your every painterly whim.

The tutor, Morag Stokes, is a Scottish Kiwi painter and Certified Artist Educator with Golden Artist Colors Ltd. with extensive experience of running art workshops for a wide variety of groups. Small groups of 6 (max) artists have been meeting at Morag’s studio in Khandallah, Wellington, on Monday and Thursday mornings since March 2014.

The studio has table top work space for up to 10 people, there are several easels available for use and a store room if you need to leave wet canvases from week to week.

Experience required: You will need sufficient art experience to be able to initiate your own project.
