We welcome our new club members and blues lovers to the Sunday Blues Sessions at the Horse & Trap - The Flaming Mudcats are an absolute favourite in the Auckland Blues scene, they will be performing this Sunday 01 Sep, this band is going to play us some seriously good blues, you won't find yourself a better good time. $10 on the door.

Now in their eleventh year, The Flaming Mudcats are regarded among the country’s premier Rhythm and Blues acts. They have performed in festivals and clubs around the country, as well as Australia, the Pacific Islands and the USA.
The band is fronted by Craig Bracken on vocals and harmonica along with guitarist Doug Bygrave, powered by bassist Johnny Yu and drummer Ian Thomson as the rhythm section. Their energetic show blends original and cover material drawn from their eclectic influences. Dance your socks off to everything from butt shaking belters to soulful grinders.
