This course will run twice in 2019:
Saturday 6 April 9:30 AM - 4 PM or
Sunday 18 August 9:30 AM - 4 PM or
Sunday 10 November 9:30 AM - 4 PM
Come and learn about composition and the basic elements of watercolour before quickly moving on to create two of your own paintings. You'll leave the course with lots of techniques to enable you to enjoy your watercolour painting.
Expected learning outcomes:
- Gain confidence in using this medium
- Learn basic techniques for painting with watercolour
- Learn about creating exciting composition in paintings
- Complete two paintings
Who should attend?
Anyone from total beginners with painting to those looking to experience a new medium or gain a fresh perspective from a successful artist.
What to bring:
As this course runs over the lunch hour, bring something to eat and enjoy a sociable meal break with other course-goers. We'll provide tea and coffee. All materials for this course are included within your course fee.

Bernadette has had success winning many awards and selling paintings around NZ and internationally. She has held successful painting workshops around NZ.
