For almost thirty years The Original Gypsy Fair has been travelling NZ and we will be Back in Palmerston North on the Fabulous Railway land for our 19th fair of the 2018-2019 season.

As always we will be bringing an expansive range of handcrafted products that are sold exclusively at The Original Gypsy Fair, some of which will be made before your eyes. Be amazed as you watch world renowned glass blower Geoff Brunker as he skilfully manipulates molten glass into an array of beautiful works of art.

Grab yourself a stunning masterpiece of jewellery and other creations made from silverware by David, and Rowena has made a gorgeous array of items from beads. (Spiders have never looked so delightful!)

Have you ever seen a coin turned into an extraordinary piece of jewellery. Come see our very own Maxine who has turned old coins into beautiful rings.

Our most senior member Maureen has an imaginative array of unique upcycled clothing for you to claim as yours. Your fur family is always welcomed at the fair and Anne Louise will pamper them at her cat and dog grooming retreat.

You won’t want to miss a vast array of colourful tie dyed creations at Sean & Lou’s stall, all hand tied and dyed by Sean. Tattooing and body piercing is available by the very talented Jude & Shayne Sergeant New Zealand’s first (& possibly only) Mother & Son Tattooing team.

Jewels will skilfully braid your hair and also has a fine selection of hair accessories, hair extensions, and hand made copper. Sheryl has a luxurious selection of Soaps & oils, feast your eyes on the indulgent range of handmade soaps, balms and oils.

You’re bound to fall in love with something at Kristin’s clothes, something for all the family and then flash it up by popping over to Dianne’s spectacular range of hats, bags and other accessories. The magpie will come out in you when you spy Bev’s crystals and gemstones, whatever your path, there is something here that will point you in the right direction.

Pay a visit to our very own Annie Bland spiritual/Clairvoyant for a reading, Feeling hungry? Well Robyn and Ross have a tempting selection of sandwiches and wraps as well as cakes, muffins and other tummy satisfying treats, also amazing coffee, smoothies, sodas and other beverages available at the Bouncy Bean Cafe.

Micky has the ever popular and scrumdumliuptious doughnuts. Treat the kids or even yourself at Pam and Shanes Candyfloss, freshly spun before your eyes there’s nothing better than candyfloss at the fair, beware! Their fudge is dangerously addictive.

Entertain the kids and let them run themselves tired on Oskars unique obstacle bounce, Jamie & Bobbies Bubbles, Hula Hoops and other juggling supplies will keep the kids fascinated for hours. Get their faces painted, also body art by international artist Jane and partner Aiden.

Let them experience “Ye Olde Play station” toys from yester year. Are you a good shot? Find out at Gav’s Sgts Mess Shooting Gallery, and test your balancing skills at Dave's Segway’s and Hover boards.

Soak up the atmosphere of live stage entertainment by Karlos, performing daily on his handcrafted stage. Musos are most welcome to come along for a jam too. Our wonderful homes that we travel in are part of the largest fleet of privately owned heritage vehicles continuously touring NZ.
