The Poronui Passage, by sporting event specialists Total Sport, is a rare opportunity to access the secluded Taharua Valley on the Poronui Estate (an authentic back-country station set in the foothills of the Kaimanawa Mountain Ranges).
Choose to compete in the 42km Marathon Trail Run, 21km Half Marathon Trail Run or Walk or the 50km Mountain Bike challenge - we say challenge because there are a few hills along the course! Make your way through native New Zealand Beech Forest and across Manuka-covered plains, spotting wild deer and bird life as you run/cycle past. Combining exclusive, secluded surroundings, a truly challenging trail and Poronui's world-class hospitality, this is an event not to be missed.
