A 3 Day Stage Management Course for 15-24 yr olds

Ever wondered what happens backstage at the Pop-up Globe? Keen to learn how to make a play into a production? Join us for a three day intensive and learn to get a small show up on the stage as taught by the stage manager behind Pop-up Globe’s critically-acclaimed productions Hamlet and The Merchant of Venice.

You will learn how to work as a team, analyse a script, prepare a props list, mark up a script, and respond to the needs of the director to get a show to the stage.

Information about the facilitator

Chanelle has worked with Pop-up Globe as Stage Manager on Merchant of Venice and Hamlet, and has been part of the stage management team on all shows over the past two seasons.
She has also been the stage manager for the Auckland Theatre Company productions of "Cherry Orchard" and Roger Hall's "Last Legs" and as Assistant Stage Manager for ATC's "Amadeus."
