The University of Auckland School of Music is proud to present Strike, a free concert by the acclaimed University of Auckland Chamber Choir.
Conducted by Karen Grylls (ONZM), the choir will present the New Zealand premiere of the little match girl passion (2007) by David Lang. Awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 2008, the work is based on Hans Christian Anderson's story The Little Match Girl.
The choir will also present several shorter works by Renaissance and contemporary composers, conducted by students of the School of Music.
