The Widor Project - The Complete Symphonies for Organ

They are at it again - the organists who gave you The Bach Project (2015), The Buxtehude Project and The Mendelssohn Project (2017) combine again for... The Widor Project!

The ten organ symphonies of Charles-Marie Widor are a pinnacle of the organist's repertoire, so naturally it seemed the next mountain for Richard Apperley and Michael Stewart, the organists at Wellington Cathedral of St Paul, to scale.

Come and hear them put the new Viscount Regent Classic organ through its paces in this sumptuous music. Widor's famous Toccata from Symphonie no 5 is only one of dozens of gems to be found in this fascinating repertoire. Suggested donation of $10 which goes directly to the maintenance of the Cathedral Music Department.
