Plan an awesome Public Holiday day out with friends and family on a cruise, whether it be a full on 10 minute tour across on the harbour ferry, or a more relaxed 2 hours to view albatross seals and penguins, Port to Port Wildlife Cruises and Tours are open every public holiday except for Christmas Day.
We also do fun school holiday cruises, special event cruises and out of the ordinary cruises, just for the sake of it! Such as sandflat beach landings with ecologist talks, one hour cruises based around looking at the tug boats, ships and dredges, ice cream cruises, and we engage experts to assist when we have a special topic we'd like to tell you about. Shipwrecks, old hulks, antarctic explorers or quarantine history!

Ferry
Visit cafes at Portobello. Picnic at Back Beach as you watch the boats come and go. Visit the ships graveyards at Quarantine Island. Have a meal at the Carey's Bay Historic Hotel. Visit and shop at Port Chalmers or Portobello, going between theses locations on our boat 'MV Sootychaser'.
Usual ferry services run to and from Portobello and Back Beach, Port Chalmers wharves daily and we can also arrange a ferry from Carey's Bay or Quarantine Island, on request.
