Seventy years ago, Tom McDonald released New Zealand's first commercial Cabernet Sauvignon. This year Church Road will release three new TOM wines, named in his honour and crafted with meticulous care and detail as a celebration of his unwavering passion to the craft of fine winemaking. Traditional varieties Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot are joined by regional newcomer Syrah, a homage to both the tradition of the brand and its commitment to innovation.

We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to attend our TOM launch celebration. Held in the Tom McDonald Cellar at the home of Church Road, you'll be treated to a 5-course, TOM wine-matched degustation dinner, hosted by Chief Winemaker, Chris Scott. You will have the unique opportunity to taste previous vintages of TOM, alongside the highly anticipated new releases, all carefully matched to dishes created by our Head Chef. On conclusion of dinner, our Cellar Door will be open for you to pre-order the new release of TOM, prior to its public release on 12th September. We will also have a small amount of back vintage TOM wines available for purchase on the night. Tickets are strictly limited to this exceptional evening of wine, food and entertainment.
