Tom Maxwell, part-time solo musician, full-time front man for alt-country band Killergrams is based in Christchurch. Along with brothers Tom and Nick Lynch and drummer Reuben Pierce, their distinct and compelling live gigs have received great acclaim in recent years.
Sharing a love for solid blues, country and alt-rock styles, along with well-crafted lyrics, The Killergrams deliver a dynamic live act that evokes moments of Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, Cass McCombs and Jeff Lang.
Maxwell's recently released debut album Midnight Hours was recorded at Chick's Hotel in Port Chalmers, Dunedin where the band was living at the time. Once you’ve checked it out (available on all major streaming platforms) you’ll be sure to put this gig on your festival must-see list.
