The beautiful Chamber Gallery in the Rangiora Library will host the award winning, fabulously talented, international playing, Tony Chen Lin. Born in China, raised and nurtured in New Zealand, currently based in Budapest, Hungary. The programme originally included the premiere of a new work from composer Gao Ping, commissioned for Tony. The proposed work was going to be a 5-minute stand-alone composition. Gao Ping threw himself into the project and has completed a far more substantial piece—a 20-minute suite called ”Daydreams”. Tony is thrilled and excited to bring you this not to missed performance.
