Based in Motueka this workshop is for anyone wanting to transition to 'retirement' gracefully, and plan for maximum enjoyment and meaningful contributions in their senior years. Google "retirement" and you get information about rest-homes, retirement villages, finance, property, funeral and physical health.

But retirement is unique to the individual. And retirement is not a single event but a gradual process overtime. 65 is the age that we are eligible for the pension but in New Zealand it is now not a time where people have to retire. They may choose to work on perhaps arranging less hours or less responsibilities if their employer is able to accommodate them.

This workshop recognises this and include practical guidance about issues like:
- How can we adjust to a new stage of life?
- How do we keep alive or explore our youthful dreams and aspirations?
- Is it useful to make a "bucketlist?
- How do we hold onto our own values, needs, and wants while acknowledging the support that other might need?
- How do we continue to contribute to our community, family and friends?
- How do we pace the changes in our life to minimise stress and protect our health?
- There’s a lot to consider! My workshop will touch on these topics and many more.

This workshop is the perfect introduction to your retirement planning process, or if you have already begun, it will help you review your progress. You'll leave with your own practical workbook which will help you identify the things which are important to you now, or might be in the future.
