Turanga Library Community Listening Post

Thriving Madly is delighted to host our third community listening post in Christchurch. Our event will take place at Turanga library, level 1 by the cafe on Sunday June 2nd 2019.

Our diverse team of listening volunteers make up our listening post project. We invite people to come along and join us in 1:1 connection and conversation by just joining us at our listening post on the day and negotiating with your listener how long you would like to have a korero for and about what topic. Most conversations last around 10-15 minutes and can be about anything you want! There is no need to book and we have a few listeners to pick from of different ages, genders and backgrounds.

Community building and reducing isolation is a reason for being and listening is our tool.

In a world so divided there is no greater form of activism than to stand for connection rather than disconnection.
